NCBA, in partnership with ATS Travel, has opened registration for its second international business trip to China, designed to empower Kenyan entrepreneurs with global market exposure, networking, and business opportunities.

Empowering over 100 Kenyan entrepreneurs

The 12-day trip, scheduled for October 11–22, 2025, will host over 100 business owners from high-impact sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, electronics, textiles, and interior décor.

According to NCBA, the initiative aims to connect Kenyan businesses to international supply chains and expand their global reach.

Business and cultural immersion

Participants will begin their journey in Shanghai, a global hub for e-commerce and technology-driven logistics. The second stop will be Yiwu, famed for its product sourcing and infrastructure. The final leg in Guangzhou will include participation at the Canton Fair, one of the largest global trade exhibitions.

The program blends intensive business sessions with cultural experiences, sightseeing, and shopping, providing participants with both practical insights and well-rounded exposure to China’s dynamic economy.

NCBA’s commitment beyond banking

Speaking during the announcement, Dennis Njau, NCBA Group Retail Banking Director, said the trips have become an impactful strategy in supporting business customers.

“At NCBA, we believe in extending our services beyond the usual banking and financial support. These business trips have been a huge success and proven to be an impactful strategy for empowering our customers through global exposure,” Njau said.
