The exclusive operator of Carrefour in Kenya, Majid Al Futtaim, has further extended his retail footprint by launching his 30th store at Waris Mall in Ruai, Nairobi, on September 26, 2025.
With a new 1,500 square metre store located in the eastern area of Nairobi, the company aims to supply the general public with a full range of their daily needs and fresh food directly sourced from local farmers in Kenya.
The store has recently been unveiled and has provided more than 40 new jobs, furthermore, it has made Carrefour’s collaborations with local suppliers, farmers, and small businesses much stronger.
In announcing the launch, the company pledges that it is and will remain committed to supporting the Kenyan economy while at the same time providing quality, convenience, and value to customers.
With this milestone, Carrefour is now the proud owner of 30 stores in Kenya — 25 in Nairobi and adjacent satellite towns, four in Mombasa, and one in Kisumu.
The retailer avowed that he will keep on investing in Kenya’s retail sector and beautifying the customer’s experience with the assistance of modern and easily accessible shopping venues.
