Douglas Kanja Appointed as Acting Inspector General of Police

Douglas Kanja has been appointed as the acting Inspector General of Police, bringing with him extensive experience from various high-profile roles within the National Police Service (NPS).

Kanja, who has served as the commandant of the General Service Unit (GSU) since 2018, takes over the reins from his predecessor in a move expected to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force.
