Tusker Oktobafest 2024 came to a thrilling conclusion this weekend, as thousands of Kenyans gathered for a final toast to local beer, music, and culture. The fifth edition of the festival, which stretched across the country throughout October, wrapped up with dynamic events in Nairobi, Kiambu, Mombasa, and Karatina, offering each location a unique experience that honored local character and spirit.
This year, Tusker Oktobafest broadened its reach, expanding across multiple regions from Western Kenya to the Coast. Towns and cities such as Eldoret, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nanyuki, Juja, Karatina, and Kitengela were treated to a lively lineup of music, DJs, MCs, and community-focused events. The result was a vibrant month of festivities that celebrated Kenya’s rich brewing heritage and diverse music scene.
The festival’s final weekend showcased the depth of Oktobafest’s appeal, featuring performances from some of Kenya’s top artists who kept energy levels high and fans engaged. On November 2, 2024, five different venues hosted events with headlining performances.
At The Orchid on Ngong Road in Nairobi, MCs and DJs set the stage for thrilling acts by hip-hop star Khaligraph Jones and singer-songwriter Nviiri the Storyteller. Bar XO in Runda buzzed with a lively set from pop sensation Nadia Mukami and Fathermoh, adding extra flavor to the night.
Meanwhile, Mombasa’s New Big Tree venue came alive with energetic performances from Mejja and Ndovu Kuu, while Derby Place & Lounge in Karatina saw an electrifying show from Ayrosh.

For beer lovers, Oktobafest 2024 delivered more than ten different beer experiences, featuring fan favorites like Tusker Lager, Tusker Lite, and Tusker Cider, as well as a special limited-edition Oktobafest brew. Festival attendees enjoyed exploring new flavors and old classics, as well as signature beer cocktails, providing a true exploration of Tusker’s offerings.
The festival also made Oktobafest accessible to all Kenyans through exclusive promotions, online flash sales, and discounts, creating a sense of community and welcoming more people into the Tusker family.
