Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the release of its latest flagship foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, along with the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
This launch marks a significant advancement in mobile technology, driven by the integration of Samsung’s powerful Galaxy AI.
The new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are designed to leverage the foldable form factor to offer unique mobile experiences. These devices provide users with innovative ways to interact with their smartphones, maximizing the capabilities of Galaxy AI. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, with its large screen, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, with its FlexWindow and FlexMode, promise enhanced productivity, creativity, and communication.

In Kenya, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (256GB) is priced at Ksh 264,000, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is available for Ksh 148,000. Both devices will be available for pre-order at authorized Samsung stores and e-commerce partners from July 11 to July 31. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will receive a slim S-pen case, and those who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will receive a flip suite case set.
The latest Galaxy Z series boasts the slimmest and lightest design ever, optimized for portability. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a new cover screen ratio for a more natural bar-type viewing experience, along with a strengthened folding edge and dual rail hinge structure for improved durability. The devices are equipped with enhanced Armor Aluminum and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2, making them the most durable Galaxy Z series to date.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, offering best-in-class CPU, GPU, and NPU performance. This advanced processor is optimized for AI processing and enhanced graphics, ensuring improved overall performance. The upgraded cooling system, featuring a larger vapor chamber on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and a vapor chamber on the Galaxy Z Flip for the first time, maximizes performance.
