Huawei unveiled the next-generation FTTO 2.0 Solution, utilizing XGS-PON Pro and Wi-Fi 7 technologies to enhance bandwidth, networking, and operational efficiency for medium- and large-sized campuses in sectors such as education, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing. This solution aims to deliver 12.5/25G to rooms and 2.5/10G to access points and desks, creating a green 10 Gbps all-optical campus.

For the energy and transportation sectors, Huawei introduced the Huawei OptiXtrans E6600, the industry’s first optical transmission product supporting the fine grain OTN (fgOTN) standard. This product is designed to help customers build reliable communication networks for the intelligent era. Huawei also released a fgOTN Technical White Paper detailing key technologies and application scenarios.

In data center interconnect (DCI) scenarios, Huawei launched the next-generation DCI platform, Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 Pro, which supports Tbps per wavelength for efficient, secure, and reliable service transmission between data centers.

Several customer representatives from Sub-Saharan Africa shared their experiences working with Huawei on all-optical network construction. Dr. Sudi Mwasinago, Operations General Manager of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), highlighted their collaboration with Huawei in developing a smart, green, efficient, and secure port network.
