Samsung Electronics has launched the new Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding its Galaxy A series lineup with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, upgraded cameras and enhanced durability aimed at everyday users.
The two devices underscore Samsung’s push to democratize AI by bringing intuitive and productivity-enhancing features to a broader segment of smartphone users worldwide.

The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G debut with enhanced “Awesome Intelligence” powered by One UI 8.5, enabling users to perform tasks more efficiently.
New features include Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app, allowing users to convert audio into text, as well as AI Select, which enables quick content extraction and editing via the Edge Panel. The devices also support improved multitasking through drag-and-drop functionality across apps.
Samsung’s upgraded virtual assistants, including Bixby and Gemini, further enhance user interaction by enabling natural language commands and seamless task execution across apps.

Both smartphones feature a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor, designed to deliver high-quality images in various lighting conditions.

The Galaxy A57 5G introduces advanced image processing for sharper details, reduced noise and faster shutter speeds. Additional tools such as Object Eraser, Best Face and Auto Trim allow users to refine photos and videos effortlessly.

The Galaxy A57 5G comes with upgraded CPU, GPU and NPU performance, supporting smoother streaming, gaming and multitasking.
It houses a 5,000mAh battery capable of lasting up to two days, alongside Super Fast Charging 2.0 that reaches up to 60% in approximately 30 minutes. A larger vapor chamber improves heat management during intensive tasks.
Both devices feature slim bezels and bright Super AMOLED+ displays with Vision Booster, ensuring clear visibility in different lighting conditions.
Durability and Long-Term Software Support
Designed for everyday resilience, the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Samsung is offering up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, alongside six years of security updates, reinforcing device longevity.
Security is further enhanced through Samsung Knox Vault, which provides hardware-based protection for sensitive data. Additional features such as Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker and Private Album give users greater control over their data.

The devices are now available at Samsung Experience Stores and authorized dealers across Kenya.
The Galaxy A57 5G is priced at KES 68,300 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and KES 60,900 for the 8GB + 128GB version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 5G retails at KES 60,200 for the 8GB + 256GB model and KES 49,000 for the 6GB + 128GB option.
The A57 5G is available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue and Awesome Lilac, while the A37 5G comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen and Awesome White.
