Samsung Introduces Smarter Mini LED TVs with Vision AI in Kenya

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its 2026 television lineup in Kenya, introducing a new Mini LED TV range that brings the company’s latest display innovations to consumers seeking a smarter and more immersive home entertainment experience.

The new lineup is designed to deliver brighter pictures, richer colours, larger screens and AI-powered viewing experiences, offering consumers enhanced ways to enjoy sports, movies, gaming and everyday entertainment from the comfort of their homes. The launch marks another milestone in Samsung’s efforts to expand access to premium television technology in Kenya.

AI transforms the viewing experience

At the heart of the new lineup is Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, which combines artificial intelligence with advanced picture and sound technologies to deliver a more personalised viewing experience.

The system allows users to interact with their televisions by asking questions and receiving answers in real time, transforming the TV into an intelligent companion that helps viewers discover content and access information more easily.

For football enthusiasts, Samsung has introduced AI Soccer Mode, which automatically recognises football content and optimises picture and sound settings to recreate the atmosphere of watching a live match inside a stadium.

The televisions also feature Motion Xcelerator 144Hz technology, designed to minimise motion blur and deliver exceptionally smooth visuals during fast-paced sports, action movies and gaming.

Advanced Mini LED display technology

Samsung’s new Mini LED TVs use microscopic Mini LED lights that provide more precise lighting control, resulting in brighter images, deeper blacks and stronger contrast.

The televisions also utilise AI-powered picture enhancement, which analyses content in real time to optimise image quality, ensuring every scene appears sharper, clearer and more lifelike.

The Mini LED range will be available in the M80H and M70H series across multiple screen sizes, making Samsung’s latest display technology accessible to more consumers.

Celebrating 20 years as the world’s leading TV brand

The Kenyan launch coincides with Samsung’s celebration of 20 consecutive years as the Global No. 1 TV brand.

Over the past two decades, the company has introduced several innovations, including Quantum Dot displays, Neo QLED technology, Vision AI and Samsung Knox security, helping redefine how consumers watch, play and interact with their televisions.

Samsung says it continues to expand AI-powered experiences across its television portfolio while making premium entertainment more accessible across different screen sizes and product categories.

Samsung eyes the future with Micro RGB TV

Speaking during the launch, Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics Business Kenya, said the 2026 television lineup demonstrates Samsung’s continued commitment to enriching consumers’ everyday lives through innovation.

“For 20 years, Samsung has led the global TV market by continuously innovating to meet the changing needs of consumers. Our 2026 TV lineup brings together larger screens, AI-powered intelligence and breakthrough display technologies to create more immersive and personalised viewing experiences,” he said.

Samsung also announced plans to expand its premium television portfolio in Kenya later this September with the introduction of its next-generation Micro RGB TV.

The upcoming television is expected to feature Samsung’s latest display technology, offering improved colour accuracy, brightness and picture precision for premium home entertainment.

Strengthening leadership in premium entertainment

The launch of the 2026 Mini LED TV lineup reinforces Samsung’s strategy of delivering intelligent, immersive and premium viewing experiences to consumers while strengthening its leadership in display innovation.

With AI-powered features, advanced Mini LED technology and the planned arrival of the Micro RGB TV, Samsung aims to redefine how Kenyan consumers experience home entertainment in the years ahead.
