Light Group of Schools celebrates exceptional 2024 KCSE and Cambridge exam results.

The Light Group of Schools, comprising Light Academy and Light International School, has once again demonstrated its commitment to educational excellence with outstanding results in the 2024 KCSE and Cambridge International examinations. Both institutions have not only achieved remarkable success but have solidified their positions as leaders in the Kenyan and global educational landscape.

Light Academy shines in KCSE

Light Academy, which follows the Kenyan national curriculum, achieved exceptional performance in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams. The school recorded a mean score of 10.0, placing it among the top 10 schools in Kenya. With a remarkable university transition rate of 99.27 percent, the results highlight the school’s strong focus on preparing students for higher education.

The school also celebrated the academic success of several top performers, with three students emerging with the highest possible Grade A (84 points):

Kiarie Muranga, Korir Ryan Allan Kiplagat, and Getugi Christiaan. In total, over 40 students achieved A grades, with many others earning A- grades, underscoring the school’s consistency in delivering high standards of education.

Light International School excels in Cambridge examinations

Light International School, which offers the Cambridge curriculum, also achieved remarkable success in the October-November 2024 Cambridge A-Level and AS-Level examinations. The institution’s rigorous academic approach continues to foster excellence among its students, who are equipped to compete at both local and international levels.

Among the top performers in the Cambridge exams was Audrey Chelangat, who earned an exceptional 3A and 1A* at A-Level, exemplifying academic brilliance. Zawadi Kerubo Ndubi also made a mark with a stellar 4A in the AS-Level examinations. Jessica Mugure Thiongo’s performance included 3A and 1B at A-Level, and Adrian Kigen Kemoi excelled with 3A at A-Level, highlighting the school’s ability to cultivate consistent excellence.
