Kenya Breweries expands Cider portfolio with launch of Snapp Dry Cider

Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has unveiled Snapp Dry Cider, a bold and refined addition to its growing cider portfolio, targeting consumers who prefer a less sweet, more sophisticated beverage.

The new cider, described as crisp and semi-dry with a balanced fruitiness, is designed to appeal to the modern woman. KBL’s latest innovation comes as the cider market in Kenya continues to gain traction, particularly among millennials and Gen Z consumers looking for premium, lower-alcohol alternatives to traditional drinks.

Speaking at the launch, Faith Nyambura, Marketing Manager – Innovations at East African Breweries Limited (EABL), emphasized that the move aligns with the company’s commitment to premiumization and innovation in the beverage industry

“The launch of Snapp Dry Cider is a testament to our deep understanding of evolving consumer trends. We recognize the demand for premium beverages that deliver both taste and lifestyle appeal, and Snapp Dry Cider is our answer to that need,” she said.

The introduction of Snapp Dry Cider builds on the success of KBL’s other cider offerings, including Tusker Cider and Manyatta Cider, which have gained popularity in the Kenyan market.

To mark the launch, KBL hosted the first edition of “Snapp Socials”, a series of exclusive lifestyle events celebrating the brand’s identity. The inaugural Long Brunch event at Naiposha Gardens brought together industry influencers, media personalities, and consumers for a day of immersive experiences, music, and socializing.

Snapp Dry Cider is now available at leading retailers, supermarkets, and e-commerce platforms, making it easily accessible to consumers across Kenya.
