Airtel Kenya has expanded its retail presence at the Coast with the opening of four new customer care stores across Mombasa County, reinforcing its commitment to improving customer access to its products and services.
The new outlets, located at Sabasaba, Airport Centre Mall, Nyali Bazaar and Likoni, are part of the telecommunications firm’s nationwide expansion strategy aimed at bringing customer support closer to communities while enhancing service delivery.
New Stores to Offer Comprehensive Customer Services
The retail stores will provide a wide range of Airtel services, including SIM card registration and replacement, Airtel Money support, customer onboarding, device assistance, and voice and data solutions for both individual and business customers.
Airtel Kenya said the expansion is designed to make its services more accessible while offering customers personalised support through conveniently located service centres.
Customer-Centric Expansion Strategy
Speaking at the launch, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Djibril Tobe said the company remains committed to investing in the customer experience as it continues to expand its footprint across the country.
“Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. As we continue to grow across Kenya, we are focused on making our services more accessible and more convenient. These new customer care shops are another step towards our goal of bringing Airtel closer to customers while delivering the quality service they expect from us,” said Tobe.
He added that the company will continue investing in its retail network alongside ongoing investments in network infrastructure and digital innovation to ensure customers enjoy seamless services wherever they are.
Improving Customer Experience in Mombasa
Airtel Kenya Customer Experience Director Goldermier Opiyo said the additional customer care shops will enable the company to respond more efficiently to customer needs across Mombasa County.
“Every new shop brings us closer to our customers. By expanding our presence across Mombasa, we are making it easier for customers to access personalised support, resolve their queries quickly and enjoy a better overall experience whenever they visit an Airtel shop,” Opiyo said.
Nationwide Retail Expansion
The Mombasa expansion forms part of Airtel Kenya’s nationwide plan to double its customer service footprint by the end of the year.
With the opening of the four new outlets, Airtel Kenya now operates 90 retail stores across the country, further strengthening its retail network and improving access to customer support and digital services.
The company said the continued investment reflects its broader strategy to enhance the customer experience while supporting the growing demand for reliable telecommunications and mobile financial services across Kenya.
