NCBA Expands Asset Finance Schemes to Support Businesses Acquiring Vehicles

NCBA Bank is running a series of asset finance schemes in partnership with vehicle and automotive dealers, offering businesses financing options to acquire vehicles and commercial assets while managing cash flow.

The schemes target business owners, contractors, developers and other customers seeking to acquire individual vehicles or expand their commercial fleets. Depending on the partner, customers can access financing of up to 100 per cent, repayment holidays of up to 60 days and repayment periods extending to 72 months.

Some of the schemes also provide additional working capital, giving eligible customers funds to support business operations alongside asset acquisition.

Nissan Navara Financing

Through its partnership with Crown Motors, NCBA is offering financing for the Nissan Navara of up to 95 per cent of the asset value.

The scheme includes a 60-day repayment holiday and a repayment period of up to 72 months, giving customers additional time to manage their cash flows as they acquire the commercial vehicle.

Tata Trucks and Simba Corp

The Tata Trucks scheme provides up to 95 per cent financing, with customers benefiting from a 60-day repayment holiday and up to 60 months to repay the facility.

The scheme also includes an additional KES 500,000 in working capital.

A similar offer is available under the Simba Corp scheme, which provides 95 per cent financing through NCBA, a 60-day repayment holiday and a repayment period of up to 60 months, alongside an additional KES 500,000 in working capital.

Abbas Trucks and Ashok Leyland

For customers acquiring vehicles within the MB Actros Range through Abbas Trucks, NCBA is offering up to 80 per cent financing with a 48-month repayment period.

The scheme also provides more than KES 500,000 in working capital.

The Ashok Leyland scheme offers up to 90 per cent financing, a 60-day repayment holiday and up to 60 months to repay. Eligible customers can also access more than KES 500,000 in working capital.

CFAO Offers Up to 100 Per cent Financing

The CFAO scheme provides up to 100 per cent financing through NCBA, making it one of the schemes with the highest financing percentage in the current portfolio.

Customers can also benefit from a 60-day repayment holiday and a repayment period of up to 72 months.

The extended repayment period is designed to provide customers with more flexibility when financing qualifying commercial assets.

Other Dealer Partnerships

NCBA’s asset finance offering also includes partnerships with Car & General, Mahindra, Inchcape and TNL Motors.

Through Car & General, contractors, developers and business owners can access up to 90 per cent financing, with repayment periods of up to 60 months.

The Mahindra scheme provides up to 90 per cent financing, a 60-day repayment holiday and up to 60 months to repay, together with an additional KES 500,000 in working capital.

The Inchcape scheme offers up to 90 per cent financing, a 60-day repayment holiday and a repayment period of up to 60 months.

Meanwhile, the TNL Motors scheme provides up to 80 per cent financing, a 60-day repayment holiday and up to 48 months to repay.

Supporting Business Growth

The range of schemes is intended to make it easier for businesses to acquire vehicles and commercial assets while retaining funds for other operational needs.

By combining asset financing with features such as repayment holidays and, under selected schemes, additional working capital, NCBA is positioning its asset finance solutions around the financing needs of businesses acquiring or expanding their fleets.

The financing percentages, repayment periods, repayment holidays and working-capital provisions vary depending on the partner scheme. All the schemes remain subject to applicable terms and conditions.
