Moët & Chandon reinforced its long-standing association with Formula 1 by serving as the title sponsor of the FORMULA 1® MOËT & CHANDON BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2026, celebrating the sport’s tradition of excellence, teamwork and victory.9

The event marked the champagne house’s second consecutive year as title sponsor of the Belgian Grand Prix under the 10-year global partnership between Formula 1 and luxury group LVMH. The partnership continues to strengthen Moët & Chandon’s role as the Official Champagne of Formula 1, bringing its iconic celebration rituals to one of motorsport’s most prestigious races.

The 2026 Belgian Grand Prix saw Kimi Antonelli, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen emerge victorious, with Moët & Chandon commemorating their achievements through its signature podium celebrations.

Speaking during the event, Sibylle Scherer, President and CEO of Moët & Chandon, said the Belgian Grand Prix embodies the passion shared by drivers, teams and fans.

“At Spa-Francorchamps, victory has a special intensity for the drivers, the teams and the fans who share it. At Moët & Chandon, our role is to craft celebrations and experiences worthy of that emotion, honouring the performance and teamwork behind every victory,” she said.

The Belgian Grand Prix also highlighted the historic connection between the Champagne house and Formula 1. The relationship dates back to 1950 when Formula 1’s inaugural world championship was held at Spa-Francorchamps. That same year, following Juan Manuel Fangio’s victories, Moët & Chandon established one of motorsport’s earliest celebratory traditions by presenting race winners with champagne.

To commemorate its heritage, Moët & Chandon unveiled a contemporary version of its iconic Silver Jeroboam Trophy, inspired by the silver trophies presented during the 1996 and 1997 Formula 1 seasons.

The new creation was revealed inside the Maison’s historic 1971 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman, a vehicle that has welcomed distinguished guests, including Formula 1 legends Alain Prost and Jean Todt.

The luxury brand also introduced The Out Lap, an exclusive culinary experience at Spa-Francorchamps designed to combine fine dining with the excitement of Formula 1, further enhancing the race weekend for guests.

By blending its centuries-old craftsmanship with Formula 1’s pursuit of precision and performance, Moët & Chandon continues to celebrate victory not only as an individual achievement but as a shared moment that unites drivers, teams and fans around the world.
