Moët & Chandon Elevates Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Celebrations

Moët & Chandon continued its celebrated partnership with Formula 1® by bringing its iconic podium tradition to the FORMULA 1® LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026, reinforcing a legacy that has linked the prestigious champagne house with motorsport excellence for more than seven decades.

As the Official Champagne of Formula 1®, Moët & Chandon marked another memorable chapter in its 10-year global partnership between Formula 1 and LVMH. The event saw rising star Kimi Antonelli, who became the youngest winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, alongside Lewis Hamilton and Isack Hadjar, share in the sport’s most cherished victory ritual.

The Maison enjoyed prominent visibility at the Stade Nautique Rainier III in Port Hercule, one of the most recognisable locations on the Monaco circuit, where spectators and cameras converge during the height of race action.

Moët & Chandon’s association with Formula 1 dates back to 1950 at the Reims Grand Prix, when Frédéric Chandon de Briailles spontaneously presented a bottle of champagne to the race winner. That gesture evolved into one of motorsport’s most enduring traditions—the celebratory Jeroboam.

Today, specially reserved Jeroboams are carefully stored in the historic cellars of Épernay, France, awaiting their journey to Formula 1 circuits around the world. Upon arrival, the oversized bottles are signed by race winners before becoming the centrepiece of the podium celebrations, symbolising triumph, teamwork, and shared achievement.

The partnership reflects the shared values of both organisations, including precision, craftsmanship, dedication, and excellence. Just as Formula 1 drivers and pit crews pursue perfection on the track, Moët & Chandon’s cellar masters dedicate themselves to producing world-class champagne.

“As we enter our second season back in Formula 1®, our partnership moves beyond a return to become a lasting presence,” said Sibylle Scherer, President and CEO of Moët & Chandon. “Together, we continue to elevate the podium into a moment of shared victory, honouring the collective spirit behind every achievement.”

Throughout the 2026 season, Moët & Chandon remains an integral part of Formula 1’s post-race celebration journey. From Parc Fermé and the Cooldown Room to the podium itself, the champagne house accompanies drivers and teams through every emotional stage of victory.

The celebrations culminate on the podium, where drivers raise the iconic Jeroboams before spraying champagne in front of cheering fans, creating one of the most recognisable and cherished moments in global sport.

For Moët & Chandon and Formula 1, every podium celebration serves as a reminder that victory is best enjoyed when shared.
