NCBA Strengthens Affluent Client Ties with “Meet, Mingle & Money Talks” Series

1 Mins read

NCBA Bank has successfully hosted its Gold Banking customers in Nairobi, as part of its innovative “Meet, Mingle & Money Talks” series. Launched in June 2025, the series is designed to foster deeper connections with the bank’s affluent clientele through financial insights, networking, and regional engagement.

A Premium Platform for Affluent Clients

The series provides an exclusive, in-person platform for NCBA’s Gold Banking clients to engage directly with senior leadership, Relationship Managers, and product specialists.

The first three sessions in Nairobi focused on critical financial topics, including home ownership, wealth management, equity release, and NCBA’s EasyBuild and Affordable Housing financing solutions.

Tangible Commercial Impact

The sessions delivered measurable commercial outcomes, generating over KES 156 million in active and potential leads across mortgages, unsecured lending, asset finance, and bancassurance products. Customers described the sessions as highly insightful and expressed interest in more frequent engagement, including virtual editions.

Strategic Vision Behind the Series

“Meet, Mingle & Money Talks is more than just a networking opportunity; it is a deliberate strategic platform to listen, advise and walk with our customers through their financial journeys. This program underscores NCBA’s strategic imperative of delivering best-in-class, advisory-led experiences to its affluent retail customer base,” said Mr Dennis Njau, NCBA Group Director, Retail Banking.

The initiative aligns with NCBA’s broader retail banking strategy aimed at accelerating product acquisition, driving customer advocacy, and deepening long-term loyalty.

Building Personal Rapport and Regional Expansion

By hosting the sessions in an intimate town hall format, NCBA aims to build personal rapport, drive loan conversations, and enhance product engagement across its retail offering.

The future events are scheduled in Nakuru in August and Kisumu in September, expanding the bank’s regional reach. These sessions target high-potential customers, including those with positive balances, strong payment histories, and borrowing relationships with competitor banks.

Transforming Banking Experience

Through the “Meet, Mingle & Money Talks” series, NCBA is redefining banking by offering relevant, actionable financial insights to its affluent customers, supporting them in navigating an ever-evolving financial landscape.
