Tusker Malt gracefully closed the 2025/26 polo season in Nairobi after its polo team held BMW to an exciting 4, 4 draw in the Chairman’s Cup final at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday evening.
The electrifying match, which saw Tusker Malt players Raphael Nzomo, Hiromi Nzomo, Kelvin Jumba and Michelle Morgan competing, was the last of one of Kenya’s most prestigious polo events, giving an exciting ending that mixed top sports, culture, and lifestyle.
The Chairman’s Cup, a two-day event, thrilled fans with high-energy polo matches while simultaneously offering them curated art, sophisticated social experiences, and an emphatic celebration of good sportsmanship.
Besides, the event was a testament to Tusker Malts’ collaboration with the Nairobi Polo Club over the past five years, a partnership that is built on mutual values of craftsmanship, discipline and exquisite excellence.
During the event, Tusker Malt took fans on a journey with an interactive craft station where polo fans got an exclusive sneak peek into the malt brewing process while enjoying the premium beer in a relaxed social setting.
Speaking at the occasion, Rediet Yigezu, Senior Brand Manager Premium Beer, indicated that the partnership has been instrumental in upgrading Nairobis premium social calendar.
“Partnering with Nairobi Polo for this season has indeed been a moment to be proud of. Polo has given us a medium through which we can take the Nairobi social scene to a higher level by offering fabulous experiences, making great connections, and having interactions with our customers and partners. As the season comes to an end, we pledge to offer an unforgettable experience and reveal to our customers the fine craft behind the unique flavour of our beer,” said Yigezu.
Tusker Malts’ presence on the polo field is a continuation of its pledge to the entire polo season,n as the brand has been sponsoring different competitions, including the Lagos Incoming Tour, where Nigerian and Kenyan teams battled for the Simon Kuseyo Memorial Cup and Kenya International Cup, a highly anticipated encounter between Kenya and South Africa that took place in September 2025.
Besides the game, Chairmans Cup was turned into a fashion and style showcase. The event attracted Nairobi’s trendy crowd to the well-manicured polo grounds. The guests got well with the timeless polo look using statement accessories and the relaxed elegance that made sport and style compatible at the same time.
This facet of their lifestyle was heightened when they collaborated with Nyandisa Styling and Epica Jewellery. Both of them created style moments right there and also ran an interactive craft station where guests could learn about the art and the process of creating the designs.
