NCBA Bank has announced a strategic partnership with ELV8 Africa and renowned music producer Morris Kobia, popularly known as Motif Di Don, to elevate Kenya’s music industry by discovering and nurturing new talent.
The collaboration aims to build a self-sustaining creative ecosystem that empowers young musicians through mentorship, business training, and financial support. By providing artists with the necessary skills and resources, NCBA and ELV8 Africa seek to enhance the earning potential of local talent and contribute to the growth of the country’s creative economy.
“The creative economy is one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors, generating employment and income for millions globally,” NCBA stated. “Through this partnership, we want to ensure that Kenyan artists not only get discovered but also thrive as professionals in the music industry.”
Motif Di Don, a key player in Kenya’s music scene, is expected to leverage his expertise and industry connections to mentor upcoming artists and provide them with production opportunities.
