Mwalimu National Deposit Taking Sacco has reaffirmed its position as one of Kenya’s leading savings and credit cooperatives after scooping four prestigious awards during the National Council for Ushirika Day Celebrations 2026.
Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Odhiambo, the Sacco was recognised for its outstanding performance, operational efficiency, prudent financial management, and strong governance in the employer-based SACCO category with total assets exceeding KSh 30 billion.
The Sacco received the following awards:
* Most Efficient Deposit Taking (DT) Sacco
* Best DT Sacco in Risk Management
* Best DT Sacco in Credit Management
* Second Best Performing DT Sacco
The multiple accolades underscore Mwalimu National Sacco’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and the delivery of quality financial services to its members.
