Nairobi, Kenya – September 23, 2024 – In a significant move to enhance travel services for government and executive clients, Kenya Airways (KQ) has unveiled The Asante Executive Hub, a pioneering travel center located at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi. This first-of-its-kind facility is designed to provide tailored travel solutions, focusing on ticketing, customer care, and high standards of convenience, safety, and efficiency.

At the launch event, Kenya Airways Group Managing Director and CEO Allan Kilavuka expressed the airline’s commitment to delivering specialized services to government officials. “The Asante Executive Hub is a testament to our dedication to excellence,” he stated. “This hub positions us as the go-to partner for government travel management, bolstering our commitment to excellence and fostering closer partnerships with government officials.”

Strategically situated within KICC, The Asante Executive Hub aims to cater to international travelers participating in global conferences and events, further enhancing the convenience for its clientele. This prime location reinforces Kenya Airways’ pivotal role in the executive travel sector, making it a key player in government travel management.

Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial and Customer Officer at Kenya Airways, highlighted the airline’s focus on customer-centric innovations. “We are pioneering innovations and setting new benchmarks for customer satisfaction and loyalty within the travel industry,” he remarked. Thairu emphasized the airline’s ongoing efforts to explore new ways to enhance services and create lasting customer value, aligning with Kenya Airways’ long-term growth strategy, particularly in the government and executive travel markets.

Looking ahead, The Asante Executive Hub is set to transition into a fully accredited IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) entity. This transition will allow Kenya Airways to expand its offerings, which will include ticketing services for other airlines, executive charter services, and advanced online travel management.

As Kenya Airways continues to invest in specialized services, The Asante Executive Hub stands out as a landmark initiative aimed at revolutionizing travel for government officials and executives in Kenya and beyond.
