KCB joins forces with Sauti Sol Group Limited to Amplify SolFest 2025 Experience

KCB Bank Kenya has entered into a strategic partnership with Sauti Sol Group Limited to enhance the experience of SolFest 2025, one of Africa’s premier festivals celebrating music, culture, and creative expression. The collaboration underscores KCB’s growing investment in Kenya’s creative economy.

Now in its fifth edition, SolFest has evolved into a major platform for showcasing African talent and youth culture. As the official payments partner, KCB will enable ticket purchases via KCB Cards and facilitate cashless transactions at the festival through KCB Tills and POS terminals.

Speaking during the announcement, KCB Bank Director of Digital Financial Services, Angela Mwirigi, said the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting the creative sector. “Kenya’s creative industry is a powerful engine for innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Our partnership with Sauti Sol reflects our commitment to investing in homegrown talent and creating opportunities for creatives to thrive,” she said.

Festivalgoers will benefit from an enhanced experience featuring exclusive platinum activations for VIP attendees and showcases of the new KCB Mobile App and card proposition.

The two partners are also exploring the integration of a SolFest Mini App within the KCB App to streamline engagement and provide event information ahead of next year’s edition.

Sauti Sol Group Limited welcomed the collaboration, noting that it supports their mission to expand global opportunities for African creatives. “SolFest has always been about giving Kenyan and African talent a world-class stage. Partnering with KCB allows us to scale that vision even further by creating opportunities, elevating creatives, and building a festival experience that celebrates who we are,” the group noted

The partnership builds on KCB’s broader investment in the creative economy. The bank recently launched its new Mobile App with a music collaboration featuring artists Sean MMG, Ssaru, and Breeder LW on the hit track Nitakupanga, demonstrating the growing synergy between music and digital innovation.
