Mary Njoki, the Founder and CEO of Glass House PR Limited has been selected as a judge for the SABRE Awards Africa 2025, a premier global public relations awards program.

Presented by PRovoke Media, the SABRE Awards (Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement) are regarded as the world’s largest and most prestigious PR awards, celebrating excellence in public relations, branding, and reputation management for over three decades. The awards recognize outstanding public relations campaigns across various regions, including Africa, evaluating entries based on creativity, effectiveness, and impact.

Mary Njoki’s appointment to the judging panel is a significant milestone, not just for her career but also for Kenya’s PR industry. She is the only founder and CEO from Kenya on the SABRE Awards Africa 2025 jury, an honor that underscores her global influence in strategic communications.

“The SABRE Awards are all about celebrating the power of strategic communications, setting industry benchmarks, and championing innovation, creativity, and ethical storytelling,” she remarked. “I am excited to be part of the judging panel and look forward to bringing my expertise to this influential platform.”

Njoki’s company, Glass House PR Limited, has worked with over 100 organizations, including African SMEs, multinational corporations, and governments such as Zanzibar and Ethiopia. Since its founding in 2012, the firm has been instrumental in shaping brand storytelling, reputation management, and crisis communication across diverse industries, from technology and real estate to banking and entertainment.

The SABRE Awards Africa attracts participants from various sectors, including public relations agencies, corporations, government organizations, NGOs, in-house communication teams, media firms, and startups. The competition evaluates PR campaigns across multiple categories, such as crisis management, corporate reputation, influencer marketing, and digital communication strategies.

Winners are selected through a rigorous judging process conducted by a panel of PR experts, industry veterans, and global communications professionals. The awards not only honor outstanding campaigns but also provide a platform for networking and collaboration, strengthening the role of public relations as a strategic profession.

“As Paul Holmes, founder of PRovoke, puts it, ‘Proving and Improving the Value of Public Relations,’ I am excited to contribute my expertise and collaborate with like-minded professionals who are equally committed to shaping the future of public relations,” Njoki added.

Njoki’s inclusion in the SABRE Awards judging panel highlights Kenya’s growing influence in the global PR space. She emphasized that Glass House PR Limited is honored to represent the country on such a prestigious platform.

“Our values align seamlessly with the SABRE Awards’ mission to highlight the power of public relations. I am anticipating a competitive process as we build up to the awards ceremony later this year. All participants are unique in their way, and together with fellow panelists, we shall pick the best without prejudice,” she said.

The 2025 SABRE Awards Africa Gala will be held later this year, bringing together top PR and communication professionals from across the continent. The event will celebrate outstanding storytelling, innovation, and strategic excellence, further cementing Africa’s role in the global PR industry.

As the countdown to the awards begins, Mary Njoki’s appointment as a judge signals a new era for Kenya’s PR industry, reinforcing the country’s position as a key player in global communications and reputation management.
