Apptivate Africa and Glovo revolutionize employee benefits in Kenya and Uganda

Nairobi, Kenya — November 25, 2024 Apptivate Africa, a leader in innovative HR payment solutions, has joined forces with Glovo, the multi-category app known for connecting users to essential services, in a groundbreaking partnership set to redefine employee benefits across Kenya and Uganda. This collaboration integrates Apptivate’s flagship products, M-Kula and M-Tuza, with Glovo’s expansive platform, providing employees with enhanced flexibility and convenience when redeeming their vouchers.
The move is expected to reshape the way businesses cater to their workforce, offering employees diverse options to access meals, groceries, and other essentials directly through Glovo’s app. With Apptivate Africa’s clients having distributed over Ksh 13 million in M-Tuza vouchers last December alone, this integration is poised to increase engagement and usability of these employee benefits.
Through this partnership, employees in Kenya and Uganda can now use M-Kula and M-Tuza vouchers to shop at over 4,000 restaurant and retail partners in 12 cities across Kenya, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Nakuru, and at nearly 1,000 partners in Uganda, spanning Kampala, Entebbe, and Mukono.
