Guinness brings the iconic Premier League Trophy has arrived in Nairobi ahead of a fan tour that will give Kenyan football supporters a rare opportunity to see the famous silverware up close.
The arrival on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, comes ahead of a series of Guinness Matchday events scheduled for Kisumu and Nairobi, where fans will enjoy live screenings of Premier League matches and other football-related activities.
Guinness, the Official Beer of the Premier League, will host the trophy in Kisumu on Friday, October 16, before bringing it to Nairobi for the fan experience on Saturday, October 17, according to the announcement.
The events will allow supporters to interact with the trophy while enjoying the excitement of watching Premier League matches alongside fellow football enthusiasts.
The Guinness Matchday experience is designed to offer more than a regular football screening. It aims to bring fans together through shared experiences that celebrate Kenya’s strong football culture and passion for the English Premier League.
“The company remains committed to providing consumers with premium football experiences”. Said Guinness Brand Manager Joy Murugi.
She noted that bringing the trophy to the Guinness Matchday events was intended to make the experience more memorable while recognizing the enthusiasm Kenyan supporters have shown for the Premier League.
The trophy tour is expected to add excitement to the weekend’s football activities, giving local fans an opportunity to get closer to one of the most recognized prizes in world football.
In Kisumu, the event will take place at Dondez and Berlin Lounge on Friday, October 16. In Nairobi, supporters are invited to 1824 and Kettle House on Saturday, October 17, to take part in the Premier League viewing experience.
Fans attending the events will be able to watch the weekend’s matches, meet other supporters and enjoy the atmosphere created around the trophy’s visit.
This feels like binging major international football experiences closer to local audiences. For many supporters, seeing the Premier League Trophy in person offers a different experience from following matches on television.
Guinness is encouraging football fans in both cities to attend the events and celebrate their shared love of the game.
With the trophy now in the country, attention turns to Kisumu and Nairobi as supporters prepare for a weekend of football screenings and fan activities.
