CHUI Launches Smart Locker Network to Transform Parcel Delivery Across Nairobi

CHUI, a smart locker solution developed by CHUI Smart Lockers, has officially launched its Automated Parcel Machine Network, introducing a secure, technology-driven way for individuals and businesses to send, receive and collect parcels across Nairobi.

The launch marks a major milestone in addressing persistent last-mile delivery challenges such as missed deliveries, security concerns, inconvenient collection processes and the growing demand for flexible parcel pickup options.

51 smart lockers deployed across Nairobi

CHUI begins operations with 51 strategically located smart lockers installed in shopping malls, petrol stations, business complexes and residential estates, creating a citywide network of convenient parcel collection and drop-off points.

The company says the rollout is designed to bring logistics services closer to consumers and businesses while improving the efficiency of parcel delivery.

Some of the locations already hosting CHUI Smart Lockers include Two Rivers Mall, Prestige Plaza, Gallant Mall, Gateway Mall, Southfield Mall and The Nord Mall in Ruiru.

To strengthen its network, CHUI has partnered with TotalEnergies and Astrol Petroleum, enabling customers to access smart locker services at selected fuel stations across Nairobi.

The lockers are available at selected TotalEnergies stations, including Gigiri, Mombasa Road, Survey, Likoni Road, Mountain View and Waiyaki Way.

Selected Astrol Petroleum stations, including Ridgeways, Rosslyn and Ngong Road, have also been equipped with the smart locker system, with additional locations expected as the company continues expanding.

Self-service parcel collection and drop-off

The smart lockers offer a self-service solution that allows customers to collect or send parcels at their convenience without coordinating with delivery personnel or visiting traditional collection centres. Users receive secure access codes that enable them to retrieve or deposit parcels safely at any time.

Speaking during the launch, CHUI Chief Executive Officer Denis Kinoti said the platform was developed to simplify parcel delivery while giving customers greater flexibility.”CHUI was developed to simplify parcel delivery and collection while giving customers greater control over when and where they access their parcels. As e-commerce continues to grow, there is a need for smarter logistics infrastructure that is secure, convenient and accessible,” said Kinoti.

Supporting Kenya’s growing digital economy

The company says its services are designed for a broad range of users, including online shoppers, marketplace buyers and sellers, small businesses, e-commerce merchants and logistics providers seeking more efficient last-mile delivery solutions.

By leveraging smart locker technology, CHUI aims to reduce delivery inefficiencies, eliminate unnecessary physical meetups and provide a secure alternative for parcel exchanges.

The company plans to expand its smart locker network beyond Nairobi into other parts of the country, increasing access to modern logistics infrastructure while supporting the continued growth of Kenya’s digital economy.
