Naivas Turns Father’s Day Into a Nationwide Celebration

1 Mins read

Naivas Supermarkets has honoured fathers across Kenya through a nationwide customer appreciation activation held as part of its ongoing Kikapu Kibonge campaign, with senior company leaders joining customers in stores to celebrate and recognise fathers for their contribution to families and communities.

The activation was conducted simultaneously across Naivas’ network of more than 110 stores spread across over 38 counties, with members of the company’s leadership team engaging directly with fathers shopping at different branches.

Leading the initiative was Naivas Group Chief Executive Officer Andreas von Paleske, who joined customers in-store to personally express the retailer’s appreciation. A second team comprising senior members of the Naivas executive committee carried out similar engagements in other regions, ensuring fathers across the country were recognised.

“Fatherhood carries a quiet, daily weight that rarely gets celebrated out loud. Kikapu Kibonge has always been Naivas’s promise to size up the Kenyan household’s basket and lifestyle. Today, we are extending that promise to honour the men who carry their households every day,” said von Paleske.

Fathers shopping at Naivas stores received tokens of appreciation, special recognition moments, and personal interactions with the company’s leadership as part of the customer delight initiative.

The retailer said the activation reflects its commitment to customer-centricity, community engagement, and delivering value to Kenyan households through the Kikapu Kibonge campaign, which focuses on affordability and an improved shopping experience.

Naivas noted that the celebration was designed to reach customers in all regions, from Nairobi and the Coast to the Rift Valley, Western Kenya, and other parts of the country.

The company added that the Father’s Day initiative represents its broader philosophy of creating meaningful connections with customers beyond everyday retail transactions, while celebrating the role fathers play in Kenyan families and communities.
