Samsung Electronics has once again secured its position as the world’s leading gaming monitor brand, marking seven consecutive years at the top since 2019.
Market Leadership Backed by Strong Performance
According to data from International Data Corporation (IDC), Samsung commanded 18.9% of the global gaming monitor market by revenue, reaffirming its dominance in the competitive segment.
The company also maintained its leadership in the OLED gaming monitor category for the third straight year, capturing a 26% market share.
Innovation and Partnerships Driving Growth
Samsung attributes its sustained leadership to continuous innovation and strategic partnerships within the gaming industry.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung, said the company remains focused on delivering cutting-edge technology and expanding compatibility across gaming platforms.
The brand has also collaborated with top esports figures, including Lee Sang-hyeok, widely known as Faker of T1, who praised Samsung’s performance-driven displays.
“In gaming, the smallest difference makes all the difference,” Faker said, noting that Samsung’s consistency at the top reflects gamers’ trust in its technology.

Samsung recently demonstrated its latest innovations at Game Developers Conference 2026, where it unveiled advancements in immersive gaming experiences, including glasses-free 3D and HDR10+ GAMING technology.

27-inch Odyssey 3D (G90XF): Features glasses-free 3D gaming powered by advanced eye-tracking technology for enhanced depth and realism.
32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 (G80HS): Delivers 4K QD-OLED visuals at 240Hz, offering superior color accuracy and contrast.
32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS): Introduces the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor with 165Hz performance and support up to 330Hz in Dual Mode.
27-inch Odyssey G6 (G60H): Sets a new benchmark as the world’s first 1,040Hz gaming monitor, designed for esports-level speed and responsiveness.
