The hackathon attracted over 300 entries from more than 50 countries, highlighting the global surge of interest in merging artificial intelligence and gaming technology. Finalists showcased their cutting-edge ideas to a panel of LG executives and representatives from over 300 market-leading companies, competing for substantial cash prizes and a chance to collaborate directly with LG.

The competition’s grand prize of USD 100,000 was awarded to the team with the most groundbreaking concept, with second and third-place winners receiving USD 80,000 and USD 50,000, respectively. Beyond the cash incentives, the winning teams will collaborate with LG to refine and implement their family-friendly gaming solutions on LG Smart TVs. These innovative apps are expected to be ready for consumers by June 2025, promising a new era of immersive gaming experiences.
