In a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing homeownership opportunities, Madison Life Assurance and HF Group have announced the introduction of affordable financing solutions for individuals seeking to buy and build homes at VillaKazi Homes in Athi River. This initiative aims to streamline the process for potential homeowners looking to invest in their dream residences.
VillaKazi Homes, a master-planned development spanning 100 acres, is set to feature over 700 residential units along with commercial centers, developed in four phases. Madison Life Assurance is investing Kshs. 3 billion into the project, underscoring its commitment to advancing residential development in the region. HF Group will play a pivotal role in project management, sales and marketing, as well as providing financial assistance to end-users.
Managing Director of Madison Life Assurance, Githua Ngaruiya, emphasized the project’s design flexibility, stating, “We have come up with pre-designed house typologies to ensure homeowners have a variety of contemporary design options while maintaining a standardized development.” He further revealed that HF Group is offering competitive financing at a fixed interest rate of 9.5 percent on the project cost.
Recently, the partners hosted an Open Week event to unveil the VillaKazi Show Houses, providing potential buyers with an opportunity to tour completed models and learn more about the buy-and-build financing plan. HF Group CEO Robert Kibaara highlighted the financial aspects, noting, “Potential homeowners have the option to buy and build their dream home, with plot investments starting from Ksh. 2.75 million. Financing of up to 70 percent is available through our banking subsidiary, HFC.”
The development has garnered significant interest, with many residential plots already booked as families show eagerness to secure their future homes. Ngaruiya also pointed out that commercial spaces are being actively taken up by various firms, paving the way for amenities such as supermarkets and recreational facilities to enrich the community experience.
