The shores of Mombasa came alive this past weekend as Captain Morgan, Kenya Breweries’ iconic spiced rum, made an unforgettable debut in the coastal city with the Spice Takeover Coast Edition at the vibrant Big Tree Beach Resort.

From the golden sands to the swaying palms, the atmosphere was electric. Revellers from all over the city and beyond gathered to unleash their inner Captain and embrace the adventure, music, and flavor-packed experiences that defined the night.

The event was a full sensory explosion, headlined by Mejja, Captain Morgan’s brand ambassador who delivered a powerful performance that had the crowd on their feet. DJ Issa Platinum and DJ Ronyle kept the decks blazing, while MC Gogo, DJ Daffy, and MC Chapatizo brought unmatched hype, embodying the bold, spicy energy of the coastal city.

The event which was more than a celebration of flavour, fun, and fire saw consumer taste specially crafted mouth-watering, spice-glazed meats that perfectly paired with expertly mixed Captain Morgan cocktails. From zesty rum punches to smooth, spiced mixes, the drinks flowed freely, igniting the tropical party spirit of Mombasa.
