LOOP DFS Limited and LOOP DFS Ghana Limited have attained ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certification, strengthening their commitment to internationally recognised standards in IT service management.
The certification was awarded following independent Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits by the British Standards Institution (BSI), with LOOP recording zero major and zero minor non-conformities.
ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 sets requirements for effective planning, delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement of IT services. The certification covers key areas including governance, incident and problem management, change and request management, service availability and continuity, capacity and supplier management.
The certification also extends to LOOP DFS’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering, which provides digital financial infrastructure such as payment rails, Know Your Customer (KYC) tools, ledger systems and compliance solutions to banks, telecommunications companies and other partners.
LOOP said the certification gives partners building on its infrastructure assurance that they are operating on technology services managed under an independently audited framework focused on reliability, security and continuous improvement.
LOOP DFS Chief Executive Officer Eric Muriuki said the achievement demonstrates the discipline of its teams and the company’s commitment to secure, reliable and innovative digital financial services.

The certification is expected to strengthen LOOP’s technology governance and service quality as the digital financial services provider expands its operations and partnerships across Africa.
