GROW with Safaricom Showcases Smarter Connected Business Solutions

1 Mins read

Medium-sized enterprises from the education, healthcare, and insurance sectors gathered in Nairobi for the GROW with Safaricom Business Solutions Showcase to explore smarter and more connected ways of running their operations.

The event, hosted by Safaricom PLC on April 17, 2026, focused on helping businesses understand how integrated digital solutions can improve efficiency, resilience, and continuity in a rapidly changing business environment.

As more organizations adopt digital tools, many are finding that the biggest challenge is not access to technology, but ensuring different systems work together seamlessly. Through live demonstrations and discussions, Safaricom Business showcased practical tools and services designed to address these challenges.

Speaking during the event, Safaricom Chief Consumer Business Officer Fawzia Ali said practical demonstrations are the most effective way to show businesses the value of digital solutions.

“The most effective way to prove value to businesses is through practical demonstrations because when businesses see solutions in action, they understand their impact. And it all begins with connectivity—when that fails, everything else comes to a standstill,” she said.

Participants were introduced to a range of connectivity solutions aimed at strengthening business operations. These included dedicated internet services for reliable high-speed access, managed WiFi with analytics for better visibility and control, and fibre-to-the-room technology to improve internal connectivity.

For enterprises operating across multiple locations, Safaricom highlighted SD-WAN as a smarter way to manage networks, while 5G for Business was presented as a flexible, high-speed option capable of adapting to evolving demands.

The company also emphasized the importance of always-on connectivity, designed to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions during unexpected outages.

The showcase forms part of a broader nationwide rollout by Safaricom Business aimed at empowering more enterprises with the tools needed to stay competitive, efficient, and resilient in an increasingly digital economy.

Safaricom says the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting Kenyan businesses as they navigate digital transformation and seek long-term sustainable growth.
