Against this backdrop, the THE Africa Universities Summit 2026 will take place in Nairobi on March 30–31, bringing together key stakeholders to explore how higher education can unlock human capital, drive entrepreneurship, and foster inclusive development across Africa.
The summit will convene leaders from academia, business, and civil society for high-level discussions, interactive workshops, and keynote presentations centered on critical issues affecting the continent’s higher education ecosystem.

Participants will examine how research and innovation can be harnessed to develop sustainable solutions, particularly in areas such as climate change, public health, and economic resilience.

The summit will also spotlight innovation and entrepreneurship as drivers of Africa’s future growth. Discussions will center on nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, supporting start-up ecosystems, and accelerating digital transformation across institutions and industries.
