betPawa Hosts KSh19.7 M Winner for Nairobi Experience

2 Mins read

A Mombasa-based truck driver, Sadiq Kamulali, has become millionaire after winning KSh19,797,271.74 from a KSh100 bet placed on betPawa. The winning bet, a 39-leg multibet placed on the morning of February 8, 2026, turned an ordinary day into a life-altering moment.

Sadiq attributes his win not to luck alone, but to careful analysis and strategy. He focused on team performance trends, particularly goal statistics, and followed matches closely throughout the day.

Despite moments of tension, including a crucial fixture involving Real Madrid, he remained confident in his selections.

“I did proper research on the teams, especially their previous goal records. I focused on the Over and Under market,” he said.

Celebrating Responsibly in Nairobi

To mark the milestone, betPawa hosted Sadiq in Nairobi for a curated winner’s experience aimed not only at celebration but also at long-term financial wellbeing.

The visit included a financial planning masterclass led by a professional advisor, focusing on wealth preservation, smart investment decisions, and sustainable financial habits.

Company executives noted that the initiative reflects betPawa’s broader commitment to responsible betting, recognising winners while supporting them beyond the initial excitement of a big win.

The Nairobi experience also featured leisure activities, including a guided safari at Nairobi National Park, giving Sadiq a chance to enjoy one of Kenya’s iconic attractions.

A Shift in Priorities and Future Plans

Following the win, Sadiq says his outlook on life has significantly changed. Having spent years as a long-distance driver, often away from his family, he now plans to prioritise time with his children.

“I have missed important moments with my children. Now I want to be present,” he said.

He is also exploring business opportunities, emphasising a cautious approach to spending. Rather than making impulsive decisions, Sadiq says he is taking time to plan investments that will create long-term stability.

A personal dream also remains high on his list: travelling abroad to watch his favourite football club, Arsenal, play live.

Promoting Responsible Betting

Both Sadiq and betPawa have underscored the importance of responsible betting. The company continues to encourage users to utilise tools such as self-exclusion where necessary, while reminding customers to only bet what they can afford to lose.

Sadiq echoed the same message, urging others not to rely on betting as a primary source of income.

“Don’t leave your job to focus on betting. If you win, you can invest but betting should not be pressure,” he advised.
