TVS Motor Company (TVSM), one of the world’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers, has opened a new state-of-the-art showroom on Lusaka Road, Nairobi, strengthening its footprint in Kenya’s rapidly growing motorcycle market.
The new facility, established in partnership with regional distributor Car & General, will serve as both an experience and sales centre, showcasing TVSM’s full range of 2-wheelers famed for their quality, reliability, and engineering excellence.
The inauguration comes just a day after the grand Kenyan launch of the TVS Apache RTR 180, the company’s latest premium performance motorcycle. The Apache RTR 180 embodies over four decades of TVS’s racing heritage, delivering a refined blend of power, precision, and performance tailored for modern riders.
Speaking during the launch, Peyman Kargar, President, International Business at TVS Motor Company, highlighted Kenya’s importance to the company’s African expansion.
“Kenya is central to TVSM’s continental ambitions, given its role as a regional commercial hub and its influence on motorcycle culture across East Africa,” he said. “With a growing community of discerning riders and evolving urban infrastructure, this is the ideal market for the Apache’s debut. There is immense potential here, and through our strong partnership with Car & General, we aim to continue expanding our presence in Africa.”
TVS Motor products are sold in over 90 countries across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa. The company’s flagship TVS Apache series, driven by a strong racing DNA, continues to gain global traction, including a rising presence in Europe.
The new Nairobi showroom marks another milestone in TVS Motor’s strategy to meet increasing demand for high-performance and commuter motorcycles in the region.
