Isiolo County Government has impeach Governor Abdi Guyo, following an impeachment motion that was filed against him over allegations of misconduct.
Early today, the MCAs had a public where some members defended the governor and others criticised sharply criticised him.
MCAs accused him of gross misconduct, violation of the Constitution and various laws, and abuse of office.
Guyo was impeached on Thursday 26th June 2025 by Isiolo County Assembly, where 16 out of 18 MCAs supported the motion to oust him.
The Senate County Public Accounts Committee, chaired by Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang, irregular hiring was most with irregularity that constituted a massive misuse and wastagenof public resources.
