Equity Group Holdings CEO Dr. James Mwangi has encouraged beneficiaries of the Wings to Fly and Elimu Scholarships to embrace innovation, manage their time wisely, and make sound life choices as a pathway to success.
Speaking during the 16th Annual Regional Education and Leadership Congress at Mama Ngina Girls Secondary School. Dr. Mwangi addressed over 1,800 Form Three and Form Four students, urging them to be leaders of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
“Innovation and wise use of time are the cornerstones of progress. You must remain focused, think creatively, and make decisions that will shape your future positively,” said Dr. Mwangi.
He emphasized that time, once lost, cannot be recovered and urged the learners to use it productively and constructively, both in school and in life.
The Wings to Fly and Elimu Scholarships are flagship initiatives under the Equity Group Foundation aimed at supporting academically gifted students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access quality secondary education and leadership training.
Dr. Mwangi reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders through education and mentorship, noting that nurturing talent and discipline is key to transforming communities and the country at large.
