East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has officially launched Don Julio 1942 in Kenya, marking a significant milestone in the luxury spirits market. The grand consumer launch follows a strategic six-month campaign aimed at educating and engaging industry professionals and trade partners on the premium tequila’s unique attributes.

The event, held in Nairobi, provided an immersive experience that showcased the refined craftsmanship of Don Julio 1942. Attendees were treated to tastings, mixology sessions, and curated experiences designed to highlight the spirit’s rich flavour profile ideal for both sipping and mixing.

Speaking at the event, Jean Okech, Head of Marketing Spirits Portfolio at EABL, emphasized the brand’s positioning in the luxury segment.

The six-month lead-up to the consumer launch focused on training industry professionals on the brand’s nuances, ensuring a knowledgeable and engaged market. EABL also leveraged its strong trade partnerships, hosting 10 exclusive brand events to build excitement and awareness.
