This innovative tool, integrated into Optimum’s Ultimate ERP system, aims to revolutionize the financial sector by enabling the swift and accurate generation of reports that comply with international public sector accounting standards (IPSAS).
Cossigah Mamboleo, CEO of Optimum Computer Systems, emphasized the urgency for Kenya’s financial sector to adopt such technologies to enhance transparency, accountability, and integrity. “The world is rapidly evolving, and digital transformation is reshaping industries globally,” Mamboleo stated. He underscored the critical role of AI in navigating these changes and addressing persistent issues like financial fraud, which undermine public trust and economic growth.

Prof. George Muthaa, Deputy Principal of Administration, Finance, and Planning at Turkana University College, highlighted the AI’s potential to enhance financial management and decision-making in academia. “This marks a significant milestone towards digital transformation and operational excellence in financial management for universities,” he noted.
Mr. Sammy Cheruiyot, Principal of Kericho National Polytechnic, praised the tailored approach of Optimum’s AI tool for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. Cheruiyot expressed enthusiasm about the system’s adaptability to the new Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curriculum and its portfolio of evidence documentation requirements.
