Samsung Electronics East Africa Ltd. has launched its 2024 TV and sound device line-up, introducing a new era of AI-driven home entertainment. The unveiling took place at the Unbox & Discover event at Capital Club in Nairobi, showcasing the latest Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs, OLED TVs, and advanced sound devices.

This year’s TV lineup demonstrates our commitment to innovation, offering products that provide premium viewing quality while significantly enhancing our consumers’ lifestyles,” Kochhar said.

Revolutionary Neo QLED 8K

The Neo QLED 8K TV, equipped with the advanced NQ8 AI Gen2 processor, stands as the flagship of Samsung’s new line-up. This processor, featuring a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and an increase in neural networks from 64 to 256, ensures an unparalleled viewing experience. Key features include 8K AI Upscaling Pro for enhanced picture clarity, AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother action scenes, and Real Depth Enhancer Pro for lifelike depth in every scene.

Audio enhancements are equally impressive, with the Active Voice Amplifier Pro ensuring clear dialogue, Object Tracking Sound Pro syncing audio with on-screen action, and Adaptive Sound Pro adjusting audio based on content and room acoustics.

Smart and Energy-Efficient Features

Samsung’s 2024 TVs boast SmartThings AI capabilities for energy efficiency. The new AI Energy Saving mode can reduce energy use by 23 percent compared to standard mode. The TVs are designed for seamless connectivity and integration. The Tizen OS powers a connected ecosystem that transforms screens into a central hub for all digital needs. Smart Mobile Connect turns smartphones into universal remotes, while the TVs can connect with third-party appliances and IoT devices.
