Over 500 Vulnerable Nakuru Residents Receive Early Christmas Support
More than 500 vulnerable residents of Nakuru Town have received early Christmas support after Remnants Missionaries International donated foodstuffs and clothing during a festive season outreach.
The beneficiaries, aged between 11 and 70 years, included elderly persons, orphans, widows, and low-income families drawn from various parts of the town. The donation brought relief to households struggling to meet basic needs amid the high cost of living.
Church officials said the initiative was aimed at restoring dignity among the vulnerable and ensuring they celebrate the Christmas season with hope and a sense of belonging. They noted that beyond material support, the outreach also offered encouragement and solidarity to families facing economic hardship.
Remnants Missionaries International said it has been running feeding and clothing programmes in Nakuru for the past four years as part of its commitment to community service.
The organization used the occasion to call on Kenyans, institutions, and well-wishers to extend compassion and support to the less fortunate, especially during the festive season.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support, saying the donations would go a long way in helping their families enjoy the Christmas celebrations with dignity.
