Joan Cheruto, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Kitale, has won a prime plot of land worth KSh. 3 million in Vipingo, Kilifi County, emerging as the grand prize winner of the Revvvisha na KCB campaign.
The five-month nationwide campaign, run by KCB Bank Kenya in partnership with Centum Real Estate, was designed to promote financial empowerment and instill a savings culture among Kenyans. Cheruto secured the win by consistently depositing funds into her KCB Goal Savings Account and meeting all the campaign’s eligibility requirements.
“It is such a proud moment for me after being named the winner of the Revvvisha na KCB campaign. When I was first called, I thought I was being conned until I visited my branch in Kitale,” Cheruto said. “KCB is doing a fantastic job in strengthening the savings culture among Kenyans through such customer-centric campaigns. I encourage them to continue doing so for a better future for us all.”
The land prize is located at the upscale Kingswood Park Estate in Vipingo and was awarded in collaboration with Centum Real Estate, a top property developer in Kenya. The estate is known for its serene environment and growing investment potential, adding long-term value to the prize.
“Through the Revvvisha na KCB campaign, we partnered with Centum Real Estate to introduce a compelling incentive, one that goes beyond monetary gain and speaks to long-term value,” said Caroline Wanjeri, KCB Director of Mortgage Business. “Today, one lucky Goal Savings Account holder walks away with a prime plot of land valued at KSh. 3 million.”

The campaign was anchored on the KCB Goal Savings Account, which offers an interest rate of up to 8.5 percent. It was open to individuals aged 18 and above with valid national identification, excluding corporate accounts, M-Pesa agents, and KCB staff.
In addition to the grand prize, the campaign featured other rewards including school fees payments, dining and fuel vouchers, and Easter hampers—demonstrating KCB’s ongoing commitment to improving the lives of its customers through practical financial solutions.
The Revvvisha na KCB campaign reaffirms KCB’s strategic focus on promoting smart saving habits and offering real value to its diverse customer base.
