NCBA NOW App: Revolutionizing banking in Kenya and beyond

2 Mins read

NCBA Bank has demonstrated a great initiative in creating the digital banking world of the future, and the NCBA NOW app is a fitting example of how the bank has engineered convenient and readily accessible mobile banking services for the whole East African region through one simple comprehensive mobile banking platform.

One of the cornerstones of the bank’s digital strategy, the app, was introduced as part of NCBA’s promise for easier banking and financial inclusion, and has won over the hearts of many users with its comprehensive functionality catering to a wide range of users regardless of whether they are customers or not.

NCBA NOW mobile securities bank service, fast, secure, and user-friendly, is way better than the app available on Android and iOS. eCitizen government service payments, M-Pesa to NCBA account transfers, domestic tax payments to KRA, and credit card bill management are offered by the app.

Additionally, the app allows setting or changing PINs of bank cards, payment of insurance premiums, as well as easy management of unit trust accounts. Buying and selling of foreign currencies with utmost convenience is provided with the FX Now feature along with Pesalink, RTGS, and EFT integration.

The users are also given the option to continue while they are in the process of topping up their airtime, paying for an expressway toll, or checking the details of their relationship manager, thereby enabling the safekeeping of all finances in one place.

One of the most important things about the app is how it allows non-NCBA customers to use it. Any person with a smartphone can use the services such as airtime purchase and bill payment, etc. without being the bank’s customer, a feature which best suits the bank’s “Twende Mbele” to motivate progress.

Furthermore, the bank is also attracting customers by promoting the safety aspects of the app, which includes informing customers thoroughly about illegal phishing attacks and advising them to directly access the app via the official website or go to the app store for downloading the app.

On the other hand, NCBA’s efforts to address customer concerns, as seen in their replies to user reviews, indicate that the bank is determined to continuously improve the app. Customer support at +254711056444 is highly commendable as it has been applauded for solving problems, though some users state that they have had different experiences with the support team.

The NCBA NOW app is unique in its own way as it serves as a mark of the bank’s goal of being the biggest and most effective promoter of financial inclusion.

With the commitment to continuous upgrades and keeping user suggestions as a priority, NCBA is definitely on its way to making a greater impact on the digital banking landscape in East Africa.
